Accessibility
Black Briar Group is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet recognized accessibility standards and to keep improving.
Black Briar Group INC supports the goals of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the accessibility standards made under it. This statement explains our target, the measures we have taken, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.
Our target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive disabilities.
Measures we have taken
- Semantic HTML — pages are built with meaningful headings, landmarks, and structure so that assistive technology can navigate and announce content correctly.
- Keyboard navigability — interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with visible focus states.
- Reduced-motion support— where we use motion, we respect the operating-system “reduce motion” preference and serve a static experience to visitors who request it.
- Contrast-safe monochrome palette — our restrained black-and-white design is chosen for strong text contrast and readability.
